What is the first thing that pops on your mind when you see the word “game”? When I think about game, I would think of something fun and interesting. The story we read was totally different. The story is serious and deadly. The two men underground seemed like a game observed or played by other people. The two men had keys on them; they needed to turn the keys simultaneously to launch the missile. The guys behaved strangely because they were stuck in there for 133 days. If I am stuck in there for 133 days, I probably will shoot myself first. I got to do something, or else I would be really bored. Shotwell in the story was tempted to shot the missile or shoot the narrator. If it is me, I might also do that. Though the story is kind of creepy and hard to understand, but the meaning of the story is interesting.
